Self-inhibiting adhesives are known for use in medical applications.
Self-inhibiting adhesives, also known as self-closing adhesives, have been found to have a number of advantages over other adhesives, particularly in the dental field.
As mentioned above, a problem associated with conventional dental adhesives is that they are not able to completely seal the space between the tooth and the casting when forming a crown. In order to overcome this problem, self-inhibiting adhesives, which can be formed as a single body, have been developed.
In the case of known self-inhibiting adhesives, to achieve adequate inhibition at room temperature, the adhesive is required to undergo an essentially two-stage curing process, e.g. first a curing at a lower temperature and then a curing at a higher temperature.
Furthermore, in order to achieve sufficient adhesion and sealing, a self-inhibiting adhesive should contain fillers, such as fluorides.
Self-inhibiting adhesives should be activated with care, as the surfaces of the teeth must be protected from the harmful influence of such an adhesive which has been accidentally activated during curing.
The type of polymer used in the manufacture of such adhesives is also important, since it has to meet the following requirements: a relatively high resistance to solvents, good water resistance, good ability to adhere to the dental substrates and, a relatively low viscosity at room temperature.

The game was close until the end but the win is important for Dnipro that will have one more game to decide the relegation standings with the opposite result.
On the other side, Tofas stayed in 6th place. They will look for a win against Aries Trikala to move up the standings.
